Spiritual Birth
Biblical Chronology
Creed Of Principle Extraction
Examples Of Principle Extraction

What is "Spiritual Birth?"

Listen to the words of Christ as he describes Spiritual birth:

"No man will know the kingdom of God unless he is born again"
Jesus Christ (John 3:3)

All of us are born with emptiness within us that cries out for God. That only God can fill. All of man's religions are just the empty chatter of mans vain pursuits to know God. God can only be known as He chooses to reveal Himself. He has indeed revealed Himself through Jesus Christ. He was not just a man, but God himself revealing himself to all humanity (John 1:1). He was not just an alternative to heaven He is the door by which we must enter if we are to enter at all (John 14:6). If there is any other way in then Christ died a tragic death. Christ's death did not end with a futile remorse, but he proved his divinity by the resurrection from the grave on the third day as he predicted. He is indeed alive and well, he as changed millions of lives through the centuries by the work of His Spirit, and longs to do the same for all of humanity. Why not ask him to help you today, He is standing at the door of your heart knocking. Open that door and you will find life, close it and you will find eternity lost.

Where do you start?
"I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again"
The Gospel of John 3:3

The Roman Road to Salvation

One must realize that without the gospel there is no salvation, read the following excerpts:
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes?"
Romans 1:16a
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved"
The Acts Of The Apostles 4:12

Christ's claims are exclusive, truth by definition is exclusive. Salvation is not an invention of man, but the redemptive work of God. God has "the plan" for our salvation. One might ask, "salvation from what?" And the answer is "the penalty for our sin."

We all have sinned:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Romans 3:23
Because of our sin, there are severe consequences:
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"
Romans 6:23
"The mind of sinful man is death?"
Romans 8:6
"Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God"
Romans 8:8

Salvation begins with confession and repentance/renouncement of our sins and acknowledgement of Christ:

"That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:9 [Salvation prayer invitation]

We next give our lives back to God and our lives are changed:

"Therefore I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then your will be able to test and approve what God?s will is? His good, pleasing and perfect will."
Romans 12:1-2

Where to go from Here: (listen to Jesus words?)

"If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father , and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and obeys them, is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."
John 14:15

Repentance is part of the message of the Gospel's, it is the affirmation of the acceptance of God's truth (Mt. 3:8, 9:13 Lk. 13:3,5; Lk. 24:47; Ac. 2:38; Ac. 3:19; Ac.11:18; Ac. 17:30; Ac. 20:21; Ac. 26:20;2Tim. 2:25; Rv. 3:19).
